Nerves

Today is June 1st! I can't believe how fast the year has gone. And with being in June also means that I will have a TWO year old at the end of the month! So, along with work and practicing colors and numbers, I'm also planning a party and more importantly, thinking of Brody at the "big" school. Our daycare, which I truly love, is set up in two different schools: infant center and preschool. Brody has been at the infant center since he was 8 months old. I LOVE everyone of the teachers there, I know his routine, they know ours, and he's so happy there. When he turns 2, he'll be moving on to the preschool. He has no idea and I can't stop thinking about it. Will he like his new teacher? Will he adjust to being with the 3 and 4 year olds? As much as I love seeing him grow up, I really hope this month takes FOREVER to end. How in the world am I going to be when he moves to Kindergarten????

Where has the time gone? The last post was in January, with no new pictures, either! Sorry!!!

So apparently, my mom has failed to post anything new in 2011. I thought that was one of her resolutions...

The year started off with a bang! I had to go to the ER one night because I was coughing so much I could barely breathe. Turns out, I had croup! It was pretty scary; I had to breathe into a funny-looking thing and the worst part was that I had to have not one, but TWO shots in my legs! Seriously, that was awful!!! I was out of school for a whole week. Mommy and Daddy took turns watching me during the day.

Here are a few of my latest and greatest talents:

* Favorite foods: rice, beans, meat and muk (milk)
* Loves climbing up his playscape to go down the lide (slide)
* Has begun to use a fork to eat meats with - and LOVES to dip foods into ketchup.
* Animal sounds: Cow, Duck, Elephant, Lion, Dog
* Identifies the color blue and yellow
* Jumps freestanding!
* Loves to help Mommy "cook" pancakes on the weekends; loves to help Daddy with his tools

Has it seriously been almost two months since we last posted??? Sorry about the delay. We had many camera issues along the way, but now things seem to be back to normal.

So much has happened since October - Halloween, Thanksgiving, and now getting ready for the much anticipated visit from the big guy (tata).

Some milestone highlights:

*Point to body parts

*Recognizes and names Big Bird (bi-bird), Elmo (momo), Cookie Monster (tootie).

*Completes a shape puzzle by himself.

*Climbs up AND down the stairs by himself.

*New favorite words: "uh oh", "NO", "Pooper", "ma (more)", "tootie (cookies)".

15 Month Update

So we're a little late at posting; Mommy blames it on work! Anyway, I went to the doctor for the my 15 month check up. All is well with me! Here are the latest stats:

Weight - 24.14 oz. (50%)
Height - 31 inches (50%)
And of course my head is big (90%), but just more room for my brain!

I'm running around everywhere now and I just LOVE to play outside with my lawn mower or slide. I'm also learning how to step down by myself. It's a pretty big deal for me, especially since I like to do a lot of things by myself.

Another big development is I'm FINALLY getting some more chompers! As of today, I only have 3, but my second top tooth is really, really close to coming in.
