Cake + Balloons = My 1st Birthday!!!

Well, it's official. I'm ONE year old! Can you believe it? I think my parents are still in denial, or in shock at how fast this past year went by.

Some updates...
  • I began to walk around 11 1/2 months. My mom hasn't posted the video yet :(
  • My 1 year check-up stats: 22 lbs. 15 oz (50%); 30 in (70%)
  • I pretty much eat any and everything nowadays. My favorites include peanut butter sandwiches, rice, chicken, and applesauce.
For my actual birthday, my parents got me some awesome balloons and a delicious cupcake! It was SO yummy!!!

I LOVE balloons!!! I was walking all around the house with them!

Made it to the front of the house and still have my balloons.

I also LOVE climbing stairs. I'm always looking out for the gate to be down. Sure enough, this way my lucky day!!!

I made it!!!

Going to the park

Last weekend, we all went to breakfast for some delicious pancakes! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE pancakes?? Blueberry ones are my favorites. Anyway, after we finished eating, we went and played at the park. It was so much fun!!! I just love crawling through tunnels and love, love, love sliding down slides.

I suckered my mom into coming into the fort with me. It was awesome!

Crawling through the tunnels to reach my dad.
I made it!!!

I LOVE slides. Why was this the first time I got to go on them???

Yes! I'm a happy camper as you can see from me clapping.

Graduation and Baseball Games

So it's been awhile since we've been on here. Let me tell you, a LOT has been going on. For starters, I'll be one year old in two weeks!!! I can't believe it. I've heard I'm getting a cupcake all to myself for my birthday, so I can't wait!! I'm kind of getting hungry just thinking about it...

About two weeks ago, we all went back to Del Rio for Aunt Gabri's high school graduation. All I know is that it was super long and super hot! Luckily, my mom took lots of water and puffs for me to munch on.

It was almost 11 by this time and WAY past my bedtime, but I hung in like a trooper!

Here I am acting a little goofy; the heat was making me delirious!

Here I am with Gammy and Grandpa and the graduation dinner. I had baked potato and cheese... my favorites!!!

Mommy and me with my great-grandparents.

Daddy with my cousins.

Here I am with Grandma and Grandpa. I think I was looking at the balloons. I LOVE balloons!

And finally, here I am playing with my great grandpa. I was playing keep away with his packet of sugar. Fun times!

This past weekend, I went to my first UT baseball game. It was awesome! We sat really close to the field, so I was able to see all the players and watch them catch and hit the baseballs. It was so hot outside though. However, I got to try a smoothie and it was so yummy! Hopefully I can have another one soon.

Hanging out with my Mom.

Weekend in Del Rio

I went on a Mommy and Son trip to Del Rio to help Auntie Gabri get ready for prom. I did not help very much, but I did show everyone my new skills like speed crawling, walking with my toy lion, and playing with balls.

Here is Auntie with her date.

Here I am with my Great Grandma. I kept pulling on her earrings and her glasses. I just love glasses!

With the guys... Four generations! I sure did like that cap that my great grandpa was wearing. Too bad it didn't fit me.

Just playing on my Grammy's kitchen floor before breakfast. Who knew an empty coffee container could be so much fun to play with.

And this was pretty cool. My Uncle Louie was trying to teach me how to use a game controller. I love buttons and I love games so this was PERFECT!

Mother's Day Weekend

First, I would like to say that I am feeling almost 100% better. My cough is still here and there, but I do not have a fever anymore. Yay me!!!

So this past weekend, we celebrated Mother's Day. Daddy and I sent Mommy some really pretty flowers to work on Friday. She sure was surprised. Saturday, I went up to Hutto to spend some fun play time with my cousin, Sofia. She's going to be 1 year old this week. I'm going to miss her party next weekend. I'm kind of bummed about that, but at least I got to play with her for a couple of hours. She showed me how to walk and I showed her how fast I can crawl. I even got to play with some of her toys. Who knew I could have fun with girl toys???

On Sunday (Mother's Day), Daddy made Mommy breakfast. I helped a little. Other than that, I pretty much spent the rest of the day practicing my skills, like dunking my basketball, chasing Cooper, and trying to reach for the TV. My parents keep telling me NO, but I'm not too sure what that means yet.

Enjoy the pictures....
